The Grief Collective: Stories of Life, Loss & Learning to Heal is a unique collection of 54 stories. They are all written by people who have experienced grief first hand.

It covers a variety of topics including: death of parents, grandparents, pets, stillbirth, miscarriage, relationship breakdown, loss of a step child and many more.
The book was written in September 2020 when Dr Marianne Trent, the lead author wanted to help people feel supported and understood by people who 'got' grief. She had been fortunate to have friends and colleagues on hand when her own Father was palliatively unwell and after he died. She was aware that for the most part people just don't want to talk about grief because they either don't know what to say or they don't want to upset you or remind you! The Grief Collective is a chance to be supported in grief or to know how to support people through grief by the experts - people who have grieved themselves!
