About

Hi, I'm Marianne and it's lovely to meet you!

I've always had a fascination for exploring what it is to be human and that's probably why, at the tender age of just 15, I chose my options to study Psychology as an A-Level.

I am so grateful that life has taken me down this path, to have a fulfilling and rewarding career as a Clinical Psychologist, where I get to make a positive difference to people's lives every day.

Whether it's through one-to-one therapy sessions, or reaching thousands of people through media channels, I truly appreciate this opportunity to support, enrich and uplift others every day.

A little about my priorities

What is the point of all of this if we're not including some joy along the way?

For me, when I have not been hard at work in my career. my life has included everything from Pilates and partying with my friends, to adventuring around the world: swinging in a hammock in Thailand, swimming with dolphins in New Zealand and visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise.

I like running, strength training and drinking herbal tea.

Now married with two children, becoming a mother has given me a fresh perspective on psychology, personal growth, and fulfilment. The rich tapestry of life’s highs and lows — including the grief of losing my dad — has also deeply shaped the way I understand and support others.

I am a human first and a psychologist second. I love people and learning and talking with them about their experiences and how they see the world.

A passionate commitment

My clients often tell me that I have an uncanny ability to make them feel seen, respected and that they truly understand themselves better than ever before.

I am a big fan of compassion, both towards myself and to others. I believe that practising compassion not only benefits ourselves, but it creates an environment that uplifts everyone around us too.

I wish I'd discovered it and started using it personally and professionally years before I did! I am passionately committed to easing people's distress through the understanding, acceptance and peace that comes from experience and practice.

The values I live and work by:

Integrity

I uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring honesty, trustworthiness, and respect in every interaction.

Empowerment

I will be there for you every step of the way, being your biggest cheerleader as you blossom and grow.

Authenticity

I strive to create a genuine and empathetic connection, fostering a safe and understanding therapeutic environment.

Compassion

I encourage self-compassion and provide unwavering support, guiding you towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
